worth the drive…

The recent item in the Telegraph reminded me that I hadn’t been to Lea Mills for quite a while. And it’s a bit of a drive from Morecambe. So I fired up the Panda on Saturday, stopped to fly my kite by the Cat & Fiddle, and got to the mill shop late morning. Yes, it’s one of those annoying shops where the more I look, the more I want to buy! 20% off too, that’s torture! After much soul searching I found Orchid in dark navy… I’m wearing it now, and it will be going to Rome with me next month. What did I pay for it? Well, the saving more than covers the air fare! It’s a beautiful, classic, proud-to-be-made-in-Britain pullover, and I shall wear it with pride.

All best wishes for the next 225 years. Maggie.
