Now or never

Once in an upmarket department store in Lancashire i saw a knitted dress. Brown, skin tight and v necked -the label was John Smedley. ‘Glove like’ would be an apt description. I was a gamine young girl, thin but curvy too and i had my doubts about the fit. I went to the dressing room slid the super soft sheath of a dress on and came out to see my partner.

An elderly female employee looked over and smiled.

“I’m not sure?” i said “It’s very clingy !”
“It looks amazing on you” he assured me.

The employee added “It fits you like it was made for you. You look fantastic. My advice is, you won’t look like that forever so buy it and show yourself off!” So for the princely sum of £15 i did and how right she was.
