John Smedley travels to France

I got my first John Smedley - a charcoal V-neck - as a present just before leaving for my university year abroad in Paris. My father was a long-time Smedley fan and insisted that a good piece of knitwear was de rigeur for strolling the streets of the French capital. Accordingly I wore my lovely Smedley everywhere - from the summit of the Eiffel Tower to the Paris Sewer Museum! In the spring I went to live on a barge on the Seine and my V-neck came in handy for those chilly nights out on the river. Merci, papa!
