John Smedley has played a significant part in my wardrobe for the past 25 years.
My story is a fairly simple but honest one. Bought a classic 3 button polo in light grey marl about 10 yrs ago, had it in my bag and decided to stay out that night with purchase in tow. Lent it to a friend to get into a bar as said friend had a tee shirt on and to my utter dismay the polo was returned the following morning looking as though it had been the plaything of two pit bull terriers.
Moral: Never lend John Smedley to people who cannot appreciate it.
